John 14:6

John 14:6 – I Am the Way and the Truth and the life
What that means?

I AM THE WAY:
When Jesus said, “I am the way,” He was making a profound statement about His role in salvation and our relationship with God. This phrase is found in John 14:6, where Jesus says, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
Here are some key points to understand this statement using the Bible as the main source:
The Way to the Father: Jesus is the only path to a relationship with God. In John 14:6, He emphasizes that no one can come to the Father except through Him. This means that Jesus is the mediator between humanity and God.

I AM THE TRUTH:
The Truth: Jesus embodies the truth of God’s word. In John 1:14, it says, “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” Jesus’ teachings and life reveal the truth about God and His kingdom.
I AM THE LIFE:
The Life: Jesus offers eternal life to those who believe in Him. In John 11:25-26, Jesus says, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die.” Through His death and resurrection, Jesus provides the way to eternal life.
Fulfillment of Prophecy: Jesus’ statement also fulfills Old Testament prophecies about the Messiah. For example, Isaiah 35:8 speaks of a “highway” called the Way of Holiness, which is a path to God that only the redeemed can walk.
